Property Management Marketing Newsletters

Now we have materials to build "Landlord" newsletter materials, with more coming in 2008. Tenant and Marketing newsletter materials will also be available as well. Read the information on the newsletters below and then go to Landlord Newsletters to see the newsletter materials and prices

 

The most difficult part about doing any newsletter, whether monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly, is the time it takes to write the articles and set up the newsletter content. On this page, you will find the materials you need to easily set up newsletters - templates, articles, and filler packages.

What is available in the newsletter program?
  Currently, we have newsletter materials to create landlord newsletters with more coming in 2008. Tenant and agent newsletter materials will also be available soon. We have newsletter templates and many articles on varied subjects.

What is the article content?
 
bulletClick here to view the PDF Landlord Article list to see titles, descriptions, and word count. They are from 500-700 words in length and fit as the main article in the Landlord Templates available for sale. They are in Microsoft Word® format and can be used in any newsletter template you may be using. They are written to educate and update property owners.

How do I receive the newsletter materials
 
bulletYou can purchase the materials through PayPal and immediately download them. They are only available through download. Please note: once purchased, you have only four days to download the materials and up to three tries. Therefore, download them immediately after purchase.

What software will I need to do my newsletters?
 
bulletTo run the templates, you will need Microsoft Publisher®.
bulletTo use the articles and filler materials, you will need either Microsoft Word® or any word processing program that will import Microsoft Word®.

How can I see the templates that are available?

What information do I need to use the templates?
 
bulletInstructions are included in the newsletter template.
bulletYou need to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Publisher®, which a user-friendly program. It also has many of the same keystrokes as Microsoft Word®.

What if I need to change the templates, fillers, and articles?
 
bulletAll of the LandlordSource products are customizable. If you need to change an article to adjust to your company or state law, you can. You can add, delete, or modify wording in the articles . Additionally you can change any template in Microsoft Publisher® and all the Microsoft Word® articles can be imported in the templates.

What will be available in the future for articles?
 
bulletThere are currently 38 landlord articles and 32 more coming in 2008.
bulletThere will be a total of 28 Tenant articles, and 21 Marketing (agent) articles.
bulletArticles will be added yearly for all categories.

Who do I target with the Landlord newsletters and why?
 
bulletSend them to your current clients to show your professionalism. It will also help educate them to what is needed for the single-family home management and show them how much they need a property manager. These are great newsletters to send out to prospects as well.

What about printing?
 
bulletThere are many printers available and while color does look great, but black and white can be impressive too if printed on a good quality bright-white paper. It is also better to use a 24# paper so that if printing front and back, the printing will not bleed through.
bulletIf you wish to print two-sided, you must have a machine with a duplex unit.
bulletIf you are printing a large number, it is also useful to have a laser printer that prints as a minimum 20 words per minute or more in both color and black and white.
bulletIf buying, there are many color printers available at reasonable prices, just check the speed, the printing costs (toner, imaging units, etc.), and whether or not it has a duplexer.
bulletMany companies now buy combination color printer/copiers on a lease, which also can be cost effective. Just be sure of the speed and duplex capability.
bulletIf you have a large number of newsletters, contact your local printer to see if they will work with a Microsoft Publisher® file or a PDF file and what their cost will be. Using just two-colors can also be less expensive.

How do I send my newsletters?
 
bulletYou can send newsletters either by US mail in your statements or separately.
bulletMany companies today are opting to go "paper-less" and send them electronically or put them on their website.

What if I want my newsletters to be in PDF format for electronic mailing?
 
bulletTo do this, you need a PDF program, such as Adobe Acrobat, available at www.adobeacrobat.com. Please note: you need the full reader, not just the minimum program to open up a PDF. This is a wonderful tool and can be used for many things.

What about posting my newsletters to my website?
 
bulletYou need to talk with your web host to see if you can put a PDF newsletter or Microsoft Publisher® on your site. Each web host is has their own requirements.
